AUSA 26 – High-Cut NG-IHPS Helmet Is Coming I stopped by the Gentex booth and they were exhibiting a high cut version of the Next Gen Integrated Head Protection System helmet issued by the US Army. Apparently, during last month’s Maneuver Conference at Fort Benning, the Army announced plans to move forward with a high cut design after years of demand from the field. This image depicts the latest equipment for the US Infantryman, including the new helmet. No word yet on when they will begin to be seen in the field.
