CodeBridge gives the Department a repeatable mechanism to rapidly translate operational requirements into secure, fielded software. It combines cleared, platform-grade engineering teams with Farspan, Bridge Defense’s development platform purpose-built for secure government environments. Together, they deliver finished software, not the effort to build it.
“Mission teams across the Department have clear needs for mission-ready software, but there is a long and fragmented path between identifying an operational requirement and the delivery of functional software,” said Jack Kilcoyne, Co-Founder and CEO of Bridge Defense. “CodeBridge creates a different model that delivers deliberately scoped engineering effort from cleared delivery teams, a platform built for classified delivery, and a commercial structure designed around usable software outcomes. We are proud to expand our work with USSOCOM and help the Department field critical capabilities at the speed its missions demand.”
The award was made through Tradewinds, CDAO’s acquisition pathway for rapidly identifying and acquiring capabilities across artificial intelligence, data, and analytics. CodeBridge earned “Awardable” status in the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace in 2025 and subsequently validated the model through multiple government engagements in the first half of 2026.
Delivery of CodeBridge is ordered in standardized, fixed-price capability units. Each unit represents a defined increment of cleared software engineering output that resolves to discrete software accepted by the Government rather than to hours expended. Units are ordered against specific outcomes, whether a new mission application, an integration that connects siloed data, or an Super Intelligence (SI)-enabled workflow placed into operational use.
USSOCOM is the initial ordering activity, and the agreement is built to extend across the Department as other components bring their own software requirements to the vehicle. Delivery begins immediately.
